Mr. Nir Regev
CEO
Mr. Nir Regev is Tracense’s CEO. Until recently, he was the Director of the HLS Division in IMI (Israel Military Industries) Systems and the Chairman of IMI Anti-Terror & Security Academy, where he established and led this business unit. Before that, he was the former Israeli Security Agency (ISA) executive and served as Director of the Security Subdivision (Brigadier General) which handles the Governmental Homeland Security Disciplines in Israel and abroad.
In addition, he was the Director of El Al (Israel Airlines) Security Division, which provides Security Services for all Israeli Carriers. Nir had served in the Prime Minister’s Office in a Special Operation Intelligence Unit. In his Military service, Nir was a Battalion Commander in the Infantry. Mr. Regev holds B.A in Middle East Studies from Bar Ilan University and MBA in Financing from Uno Academic Centre. Nir is an associate Member in ICT (International Institute for Counter-Terrorism ), IDC Herzliya.

Prof. Fernando Patolsky
Chief Scientific Officer
Fernando attended the Hebrew University of Jerusalem for his undergraduate and graduate education, and graduated with honors in Chemistry. After postdoctoral research at Harvard University, he returned to Israel in 2006 to assume a position of Associate Professor at Tel Aviv University. Patolsky is mainly interested in exploring the properties of new nanomaterials, in the development of methods for hierarchical assembly of nanoscale wires, and in the interface between such materials and biological-chemical components. Patolsky’s work has been recognized by a number of awards including the Tel Aviv University Applied Sciences Award (2009), the Alon Fellowship award (2006) and the Schmidt Prize (2005). He has published over 70 highly cited papers in peer-reviewed journals, and has more than 20 submitted patents. In addition, Patolsky is also the editor-in-chief of the Journal of Nanobiotechnology.

Orit Lidor
General Counsel
Orit serves as the external general Counsel for Tracense. Orit is a partner in Net Capital Ventures from 2016, where she leads its legal and business development activities. Previously Orit served as VP & General Counsel of Clal Biotechnology Industries Ltd. (TASE: CBI) where she was responsible for all of the company’s legal aspects. In her position, Orit led CBI’s M&A and fund-raising activities as well as the legal forming of Anatomy (CBI’s medical device fund) and its various investments. Prior to CBI, Orit served as the General Counsel and Company Secretary of Eden Springs, the mineral water group. In that position, Orit oversaw Eden’s equity investment by Och Ziff Capital as well as other complicated financial transactions with RBS, ING, Bank Hapoalim and Bank Discount. Orit also oversaw strategic M&A transactions with the Danone Group and the Nestle Group and numerous other M&A transactions. Orit holds a L.L.B from Tel-Aviv University (Magna Cum Laude) and is a member of the Israeli Bar Association. Orit is fluent both in Hebrew and English

Mr. Ami Kamil
VP R&D
Over 30 years of technological and management experience in various domains ranging from lasers & semiconductors via Telecommunication to vehicles and algorithms. Ami is an expert in multidisciplinary systems with complex interconnects. Ami worked in many cutting-edge companies and holds key positions like establishing Comverse India, managing Nice professional service, managing Comverse Africa and more.
During his work, Ami faced many different cultures with customers in the USA, Europe, Africa, Middle East and the Far East. Ami established development and support teams in India, Africa, and Israel.

Dr. Anastasia Kipnis
Head of Research
Anastasia has over 15 years of experience in chemical research. Anastasia has a strong business orientation and experience in leading R&D units, organization changes, planning research labs, leading quality assurance and quality control rules, creating an effective working atmosphere, supporting interfaces, building future vision, and directing toward innovation. Anastasia holds Ph.D. in Surface Chemistry and Material Science from Weizmann Institute of Science, M.Sc., and B.Sc. degrees in Physical Chemistry from Technion.

Mr. Avi Felder
Chairman
Mr. Avi Felder is the former President & CEO (2005-2018) of Israel Military Industries Ltd (IMI), that was Israel’s leading military industry with annual sales of $600M. Mr. Felder was the Chairman of the Board of three IMI subsidiaries, one of them, Ashot Ashkelon is traded on the Tel-Aviv stock market, two others are in the USA. Avi Felder has over 35 years’ experience of management, marketing, R&D and business development in the area of defense industry. Mr. Avi Felder holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Tel-Aviv University. He also completed Business Development Studies at the Technion Institute in Haifa.

Mr. Roni Naftali
Director
An accomplished business man in multiple fields. In 1982 Mr. Naftali founded with his brothers “Eden Springs” – the largest mineral water company in Israel, where he served as active chairman and chief executive officer. Roni and his brother Yehuda own “Big” Commercial Centers”. He studied Economics and Statistics at the Tel Aviv University between 72-75 and then worked five years as an analyst with Bank Hapoalim. Roni served in the IDF in a regular armored cruiser and actively participated in the Six-Day and Yom Kippur Wars.

Ms. Shiri Sivan
Director
Shiri Sivan is an entrepreneur with wide experience of more than 25 years in establishing high tech initiatives and companies. During the last 25 years, Shiri has founded leading companies providing IT solutions for the hospitality sector; Smartnet Ltd provided wireless solutions for hoteliers in Israel and Viggo TV provided top connection solutions between guests and staff at leading European hotels.
Today, Shiri is the head of DGS Family Office, initiating investments at high-tech companies, real estate, financing, community initiatives, and more. Shiri has a B.SC. in Industrial Engineering and Management with honors from Ben Gurion University, Beer Sheva and M.A in Far Eastern Studies from Tel Aviv University, Tel Aviv.

Mr. Arik Yakuel
Director
Gen. Arik Yakuel is a retired Commander in the Israel Police. Past positions include Chief Explosives Officer, Head of the Technology Administration, Head of Logistic Support Department and Head of Planning and Organization. He served during the first intifada and terrorist attacks after the Oslo Accords. During his service took part in the negotiating team in the peace process with Jordan and the Palestinian Authority representatives. He also played a key role in the establishment of the Ministry of Strategy and Resources. Arik is involved in a range of leadership positions in HLS companies and he frequently lectures in Israel and abroad on the subject of counter-terrorism. He holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.

Mr. Tsahi Stromza
Director
Mr. Tsahi Stromza served as the Director of the Security and Protection Division at the Israel Security Agency (ISA), where he was responsible for Homeland Security issues. He was in charged of Israel’s National Cyber Security Authority. He served as the Director of Security for El Al Israel Airlines, and the Israeli Aviation security. Among his many responsibilities during his 25 years career at the ISA Mr. Stromza was responsible for maritime security, protection of embassies, ports, border crossing, and high-ranking officials, including Israel’s Prime Minister and President. Stromza holds a degree in criminology and political science from Bar Ilan University and a Master’s in government counterterrorism and homeland security from the Lauder School of Government, Diplomacy, and Strategy at the Interdisciplinary Center (IDC), Herzliya.
