Danny Biran

Danny Biran


Danny Biran is an experienced high-tech executive. He serves as a board member or advisor of several private companies. Between 2005-2016 he was with Altera, a public US-based semiconductor company, most recently as Senior Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Marketing. He left Altera following its acquisition by Intel for $16.7B. Before joining Altera he was the President & CEO of Silverback Systems, and prior to that he held a variety of management roles at LSI Logic and National Semiconductor. Danny holds a BSEE and an MBA from the Tel Aviv University.


Arik Yakuel

| Advisory Board

Gen. Yakuel is a retired Commander in the Israel Police. Past positions include Chief Explosives Officer, Head of the Technology Administration, Head of Logistic Support Department and Head of Planning and Organization. He served during the first intifada and terrorist attacks after the Oslo Accords. During his service took part in the negotiating team in the peace process with Jordan and the Palestinian Authority representatives. He also played a key role in the establishment of the Ministry of Strategy and Resources. Arik is involved in a range of leadership positions in HLS companies and he frequently lectures in Israel and abroad on the subject of counter-terrorism. He holds a BA in Economics and Business Administration from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem


Ran Galli

Ran served for 21 years in the Israel Air Force, holding a distinguished range of technical and project management positions in Israel and in the US, culminating in the post of Head of Research and  Development for the Israel Air Force with the rank of Colonel. On  the completion of his career with the Air Force, Ran joined RAFAEL, and served as head of  RAFAEL’s industrial cooperation representation in  Washington DC, CEO of RAFAEL U.S.A. and Corporate VP for Contracting, Business Development and Global Marketing. In 1997, Ran joined Elbit Systems holding the positions of Corporate VP for Business Development and Global Marketing, then Corporate VP for Major Campaigns and Corporate VP – Strategic Initiatives and Executive VP Strategic & Security Initiatives. Ran holds s a  Bachelor and Master of Science in Aeronautical Engineering from the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel.


Noam Gilutz


Noam is a founding managing General Partner of DS Strategic Partners, a boutique investment vehicle focusing on early-stage companies with new technologies being developed to solve obvious present or future security needs and to mitigate threats to our modern way of life. Noam served in key positions and in various fields in the Israeli security and intelligence community. After leaving the agencies, Noam gained commercial experience in Israel and abroad by providing strategic consulting and market intelligence services to corporate and government clients. Noam holds a B.A. in Economics and Political Science and an M.A. in Security and Diplomacy studies (the Executive program), both from Tel Aviv university.


Shmuel Keren

| Advisory Board

General Keren served as the Director of the Department of Defense R&D between 2002 and 2010. Previously he was the President and CEO of the ISRAEL MILITARY INDUSTRIES (IMI). He was the Chairman of top committee for IDF research grading from 1998 to 2003. Before he served in the IDF I a long series of R&D positions culminating as Head of R&D in IDF and MOD with the rank of Brigadier General. General Keren holds a B.Sc. in Physics from the Technion Haifa.
